Darshan Baldev

They say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade from it. In Aditya’s case, he took the seeds and grew an orchard from it. The work that AMF does with para athletes, representing India and winning medals globally is truly inspirational. Being an avid runner myself, I’ve followed AMF athletes for years and Aditya’s life story and how he has overcome challenges has motivated me greatly.

It’s an honor to participate in the Infinity Ride, support AMF’s cause, and experience a thrilling ride with an awesome group of people! I can’t wait to be out on the mountains with the team, get to know them, and in the process, raise funds for our para athletes who take on life’s challenges head on and come out on top of it with grit and grind! Looking forward to the challenge of riding from Dehradun to Mana Pass on the world’s highest motorable pass with the best of the best!  Thank you for your support!

Why am I doing this?

The Aditya Mehta Foundation is a NGO that supports physically challenged people in our nation to pursue sports and support them from the grassroot level by providing counseling, training, equipment and help them to live a life with dignity. In the last five years the foundation has supported a surplus of 150 para athletes with prosthetic limbs, specialized sports equipment, and sponsorships. This sort of support costs anywhere in between Rs 40,000/- to Rs. 5Lakhs per person. Many of these para athletes who seek support from the foundation have won more than 80 International medals for our country in various International Games.  The Infinity Ride is a fundraising ride which helps the Foundation to support more such people, with the aim of

– Helping more and more physically challenged people unlock their true potential and fulfill their true potential and lead more fulfilling lives, and

– Putting up a strong Indian Contingent at the 2020 Paralympics.

This year the Infinity Ride 2019, starts from the city of Dehradun on 15th August and ends at the picturesque and highest motorable peak (18,399 ft) of Mana Pass on 23rd August.
