Nihar Baldev

I’m always up for a challenge so when Aditya approached me to do the Infinity Ride, my only response was “YES!” It feels great to have the opportunity to make a difference and to help create awareness for such an important foundation. This is truly an honor and a privilege to be part of AMF and to spread the awareness about the work AMF is doing. As someone who has been living away from home for many years, AMF gives me the opportunity to contribute towards an NGO that is doing some great work in the country that is close to my heart.

I have known Aditya and his family since childhood and to see the way he has dealt with the Ups and downs of life and build this great foundation together with his team has been truly inspirational. The passion being kind to people who truly need the support is what brings us together.

Why am I doing this?

The Aditya Mehta Foundation is a NGO that supports physically challenged people in our nation to pursue sports and support them from the grassroot level by providing counseling, training, equipment and help them to live a life with dignity. In the last five years the foundation has supported a surplus of 150 para athletes with prosthetic limbs, specialized sports equipment, and sponsorships. This sort of support costs anywhere in between Rs 40,000/- to Rs. 5Lakhs per person. Many of these para athletes who seek support from the foundation have won more than 80 International medals for our country in various International Games.  The Infinity Ride is a fundraising ride which helps the Foundation to support more such people, with the aim of

– Helping more and more physically challenged people unlock their true potential and fulfill their true potential and lead more fulfilling lives, and

– Putting up a strong Indian Contingent at the 2020 Paralympics.

This year the Infinity Ride 2019, starts from the city of Dehradun on 15th August and ends at the picturesque and highest motorable peak (18,399 ft) of Mana Pass on 23rd August.
