Shubhangi Swaroop:

I am a Homemaker with a degree in Micro-Biology. I have a passion to help people who are not as fortunate as most of us, I have been helping the children in the orphanages. I have been following Aditya Mehta Foundation for several years now as my son is a part of the team for over five years now, the work done by the team at AMF is commendable and doing this fundraiser makes me happy to be a part of their work in whatever way possible

Sanath Swaroop:

A software developer by profession, a passionate entrepreneur, and an ardent cyclist. Solving problems is what I enjoy doing the most, I enjoy harvesting the power of technology to solve real-world problems. I’ve been associated with Aditya Mehta Foundation since 2015 and I’ve learned a lot and changed for the better.

AMF has always been an inspiration for the work they do and the lives they change. Travelling, Road trips, and cycling are things I’m very passionate about, the Infinity Ride gives an opportunity to do all of it while making a difference and supporting a noble cause.

What motivated me for this:

Having access to adequate facilities for Para-Athletes to increase their comfort in a game, helps regular practice and also helps in concentration and performance.

Sport is rapidly growing in our country in club, state and national levels. To serve the needs of our players and to facilitate them with right equipment to reach Para Olympics, we are looking for your support to raise money to purchase quality sport requirements.

We not only want to raise funds for their sport requirement, but also create awareness about supporting Indian Para-Athletes.

Why am I doing this?

The Aditya Mehta Foundation is an NGO that supports physically challenged people in our nation to pursue sports and supports them from the grass root level by providing counselling, training, equipment and helping them live a life with dignity. Since its inception, the foundation has supported more than 150 para-athletes with prosthetic limbs, specialized sports equipment, and sponsorships. This sort of support costs anywhere in between Rs 40,000/- to Rs. 5 lakhs per person.

A proud moment for AMF is that many of these para-athletes have won more than 100 plus national and international medals for our country. The upcoming Infinity Ride is a fundraising ride that helps the foundation support more such people, with the aim of unlocking their true potential and leading more fulfilling lives while putting up a strong Indian Contingent at the 2024 Paralympics.

AMF is now geared up for our Infinity Ride 2021 – Hyderabad to Gokarna from December 22nd to 27th 2021. The theme for this ride, while promoting para-sports, is ‘Say No to Drugs’ and to adopt children with disabilities to train them in para-sports.
