Rama Chandra gets an electronic hand worth Rs 3 lakhs

Aarle Ramachandra is an 18 year old stud from Pettapuram District in Andhra Pradesh. In 2013, while on his way to compete at Basketball Nationals in Goa, he had an accident at the railway station which led to the amputation of his left hand.

This didn’t stop Ramachandra’s continuing passion for the sport, as he continues to play and compete against able bodied players in various district level tournaments. To support his sporting instinct, we at the Aditya Mehta Foundation, along with Ms.Sarvani Chowdary, CEO, Hyderabad PAWS magazine, have provided him with an electric hand to help enhance his game. He is looking to compete at the International playing field, and we are happy to extend a hand of support (pun intended) to this budding talent. We wish him all the best!
